Alt-pop singer Ryn Weaver may only be 22 but she already has the industry buzzing around her after her 2014 hit song OctaHate went viral and won praise from One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles.

The singer has had a busy 12 months - going from zero to 2.8 million plays on SoundCloud, appearing on The Late Show with David Letterman and recording her debut album. Born to a Swiss architect father and an American mother in San Diego, Weaver, whose real name is Erin Wüthrich, was enrolled in a youth theatre school in New York by her parents, which is where she first met Katy Perry and Rihanna's producer Benny Blanco, who she's since worked with. Over the past 12 months Weaver has collaborated with Charli XCX, not just on her own music but also on Gwen Stefani's anticipated comeback album. She's set to perform across the 2015 American festival circuit, including Coachella and Bonnaroo.
